R: When did you decide you wanted to pursue a career in music?

B: I knew that music was something I wanted to do when I was around 6 years old. I remember being asked in 1st grade, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and my answer was “a singer.” Nothing has changed since then.

R. Who are your most cherished influences in music and why?

B: I have a lot of people I’m inspired by. Growing up I listened to a lot of The Beatles and then in high school I was a huge fan of Christina Perri and also Lana Del Rey.

R: What inspired your latest song “Change”?

B: It’s about change. You might not have the same hair or look the same all the time or you might be sad one day and happy the next, but no matter what, your love doesn’t change for someone. In the end you also hope that person doesn’t change their love either.

R: Did you ever have any doubts or fears to pursue your dreams and how did you overcome them?

B: I have had many moments of doubts but often when I doubt myself I get a random email, text, or call about music and it reminds me that this is what I'm supposed to be doing.

R: Who is an artist that you would love to collaborate with?

B: I would love to collab with a male artist soon. I’m not 100% sure who but that is something I’ve had on my mind.

R: Which artists are you currently listening to the most and why?

B: Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Frank Ocean. He is such an incredible artist. His lyrics really make you feel something and I love that. I want to be able to make people feel a way when they hear my music.

R: Who is your biggest fashion inspiration right now?

B: I’m totally obsessed with everything Bella Hadid wears. Her style is so cool and edgy.

R: How do you see yourself making a positive impact as an artist?

B: I hope that my music inspires and heals people.

R: How has living in Los Angeles inspired you artistically?

B: LA is always inspiring me. My song “OMW” actually talks about places around LA like Sunset Blvd and the 101.

R: What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of singing?

B: I love to shop, go to the beach, and hang out with friends.
